Drawing inspiration from the concept of a “pin drop,” this lock-up design is a powerful representation of the various SMEs scattered across the city, each contributing significantly to Dubai’s tourism market. The design symbolizes their presence and potential for recognition within this vibrant sector.
ART DIRECTION, CREATIVE DIRECTION
Incorporating the color palette from the DTCM website, I have infused these hues into a geometric pin marker, transforming it into a dynamic and visually engaging symbol. This marker is thoughtfully segmented to reflect different award categories, adding a layer of meaning and organization to the design. The segmentation within the mono lock-up is creatively based on the iconic hand sign of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, adding a touch of local significance and honoring the visionary leadership that drives Dubai’s thriving tourism industry. This design maps out the key players in the sector and celebrates the diversity and richness of Dubai’s tourism landscape.
