BRANDING CASE STUDY

In crafting the visual identity for AFPA, I drew inspiration from the rich tapestry of Pakistani culture and its burgeoning film industry. Central to our design concept was the “Charpai” or “Charpoy,” a traditional Pakistani mattress known for its vibrant and intricate patterns. This emblematic piece symbolizes Pakistan’s ethos, blending colorful stories and a deep cultural heritage.

BRANDING DEVELOPMENT, ART DIRECTION, CREATIVE DIRECTION

The logo sets are a creative amalgamation of these distinctive Charpai patterns and the architectural elements in Pakistan, representing AFPA as both a foundation and a nurturing cradle for the country’s cinema industry. This design choice reflects our deep dive into the heart of Pakistan’s cultural identity, encapsulating the spirit of a nation prosperous in stories and colors. It signifies AFPA’s role in cultivating local filmmaking talents and propelling the industry to captivate a wider audience within Pakistan, embodying the journey of cultural discovery and the vibrant essence of Pakistani filmmaking.
